Commercial
Litigation
|
|
Solicitor
and partner Andrew Isitt heads EDC LORD AND CO’s litigation
department.
Together with Assistant Solicitor Mary Groves, and Secretary Lyn
McChesney, the litigation team deal with a wide range of contentious
business, including commercial and residential landlord and tenant
claims including repossessions; property disputes (including boundary
and right-of- way claims), consumer and general contract issues;
professional negligence; building disputes, debt recovery (in
particular commercial debts and estate agency commission claims) and
employment disputes.
|
|
|
  |
|
The
team also provides advice to keep clients on the right side of the law
by advising on and drafting employment contracts and Terms and
Conditions of business; and in the fields of Competition Law; Data
Protection; and Consumer contract law. It is our firm belief that
prevention is better than cure, and that good advice, taken early, can
lead to substantial savings in time, cost and the disruption to
business which disputes inevitably cause. A typical UK business
nowadays has to comply with 900 statutory regulations. With Parliament
passing around 50 new Acts and around 3500 new sets of Regulations
every year, the tide of new legislation seems endless, and the task of
keeping abreast of it is daunting. So, why not trust your problem to
the professionals and let us take the strain off your shoulders? We
deliver peace of mind and integrity as standard.
If good customer service is important to you, then
please put us to the test. But don’t just take our word for
it. Here are some examples of what our clients say about us:
“Please express our thanks to
Andrew Isitt for handling the Company’s file relating
to…..We are very happy and satisfied with the outcome in
this matter”.
