EDC Lord & Co HIPs Terms and Conditions
The EDC Lord HIPs proposition is competitively priced as there is no middle-man to pay.
We deal direct with you.
If you instruct EDC Lord & Co to prepare your HIP, you will pay us the following sums in the following circumstances:
a) On receipt by us of the completed signed Hip Order Form, the sum of £233.82 (equivalent to £199.00 plus VAT) as a contribution towards the HIP disbursements
b) In the event of any of the following occurring:
i) We are not instructed on the conveyancing for the sale of the property Click here for a conveyancing quote
ii) You disinstruct the Selling Agent, instruct another Selling Agent in their place or in addition to the Selling Agent first instructed at any time before exchange of contracts for the sale of your property or sell the property through another agent regardless of whether the agent first instructed has been disinstructed and we are not kept informed either by the new agent or yourself as to the current position on the marketing of the property.
iii) The period of 9 months elapses after the date on the Hip Order Form without the sale of your property being completed
iv) The period of 6 months elapses after the date on the HIP Order Form without a sale of the property being agreed
you will pay us the additional sum of £235.00 which will include the sum of £109.96 (or such other amount as our account reflects) in respect of our professional charges in preparing the HIP
